Amanda is... Loud, a little eccentric and into 80's music or anything remotely cheezy.
She is an artist (thinks she's pretty good but deep down she knows she's an amateur). She is very enthusiastic, dedicated to her work and a forthright person to work with. She is enormously proud of the marketplace results which her designs have brought to her broad range of clients.
Amanda has... Grown up in Papua New Guinea, been educated in Sydney and Brisbane and worked tirelessly as a Graphic Designer for 13 years (4 of which were in London). She has been self employed for the last 3 years in Sydney and loves every minute of it. She has travelled all around the world and collected mugs from her favourite places.
One of Amanda's favourite jobs... Hoyts wanted an idea and design for their new Banana Choc-Tops in October 2007... something casual and fun for the family. They loved my design as well as the other candy bar graphics I did, and so do I! The ‘Peeling Good’ Banana Choc-Tops artwork is still up in Hoyts theatres around Australia and it makes me peel good too...
Amanda's weaknesses... She can't draw a straight line without a ruler. She can't draw a circle without a compass or something to trace around. Her pumpkin usually arrives at midnight and she is not keen to participate in a 'hi-five' or a group hug.
